Kept in the club.

Membership requests collect your username, real name, phone number and password. Passwords are stored as salted, one-way hashes. The club organiser reviews your name and phone number to approve your account.

When you join an event

Approved members can see the names of members attending an event. Your phone number is visible only to that event’s host and the club organiser, so they can coordinate the activity. Your phone number is not shown on the public event listing.

Accounts and sessions

A necessary sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on this browser for up to 30 days. Sign out on shared devices. Failed sign-in attempts are limited. Password reset links are issued by the organiser, can be used once, and expire after an hour.

Your choices

You can leave an event from its details page. Contact the club organiser to correct your membership details, request account deletion or request a password reset. The site sends the club organiser an email when a membership request or new event is created. These emails include the request or event title and time, using Google’s email service. Membership alert titles include your real name and username; phone numbers and passwords are not included. This site does not send SMS notifications.

External events

A Desert Drafters attendance list helps members coordinate. It does not enter you into an external race or activity. The external organiser handles its own entry, payment, terms and participant information.
